The tradition of quality home building began with Charles Neely around 1920. Charles' son, Don Neely, ran D & J Neely Construction with his wife, June, for over 30 years. They were also one of the first members of the Builders Association of Elkhart County (BAEC). Don's three sons, Jerry, Roger and Stan Neely, have continued the tradition of home building. Jerry and Roger Neely have been framing homes in Michiana for the last 40+ years. Stan and Linda Neely (James' parents) have spent more than 30 years framing and building quality homes around Michiana while Linda has sold real estate in Elkhart County for at least 15 years. She is currently working with Hallmark Excellence Realty in Middlebury. Stan and Linda were also members of the BAEC for many years.
James Neely continues the family tradition of precise and quality workmanship gathered from generations of experience building homes. James is a 4th generation home builder and president of Neely Homes, Inc. James and his wife, Brandi, work together as a team to meet the needs of their customers.
